Who are these supplements for?
Our Bariatric Multivitamin and Zinc & Copper are made for adults after gastric sleeve or gastric bypass surgery, and anyone their care team has advised to take them. Our Vitamin D3 & K2 is for any adult who wants a daily vitamin D3 and K2.
What is in the Vitamin D3 & K2?
Each cherry chewable tablet has 5,000 IU (125 mcg) vitamin D3 and 120 mcg vitamin K2 as MK-7. It is vegetarian, sweetened with monk fruit and has no artificial colors or flavors. See the full Supplement Facts.
Can I take the D3 & K2 with the multivitamin?
Our multivitamin already has 25 mcg (1,000 IU) vitamin D per serving, and the D3 & K2 adds 125 mcg (5,000 IU). Vitamin D needs are different for everyone, so ask your doctor or bariatric team and get your vitamin D level checked. If you take a blood thinner such as warfarin, talk to your doctor before taking vitamin K.
Can I take the multivitamin and the zinc and copper together?
Many people take both. Because iron and zinc can compete for absorption, we suggest taking them at different meals. Ask your bariatric team what is right for you.

Is one multivitamin enough after surgery?
It depends on your surgery and your blood work. Many bariatric patients need extra iron, vitamin B12 or calcium on top of a multivitamin. Follow the plan from your bariatric team and get your labs checked regularly.
